A crowd of about 400 (300 per AP, seemed a bit more than that though) is marching all around San Francisco today – see them in front of the always-busy Chinese Consulate below. To get up to speed, here’s a nice bit from Matt O’Brien about the 50th anniversary of the failed uprising that led to the exile of the Dalai Lama.
Keep up on developments at SF Team Tibet, the International Support Tibet Network, Save Tibet, the Tibetan Association of Northern California, and Students for a Free Tibet. The candlelight vigil will start at 5:00 PM in Union Square.
